Hubby's not home!!...Sometimes a girl does what a girl's gotta do! I did yell/screeech the whole time I was trying to scoop it up and get it in a target grocery bag!!!!!!

Wasn't too bad in terms of blood and guts. He had sucked out most of the guck by the time I could get to it. Now he is making those weird gacky cat noises. No doubt he will puke on my head while I sleep.

LOL! My dog, Bogie, once was chewing on a toy on the living room floor. It was a REAL mouse that he caught & brought inside...Yep...go get the shovel! YUCK!

that happened with our old man dog & a RAT he somehow caught (old deaf dog wouldn't drop his rat prize / unresponsive to my shrieking / tried to bring prize in the door) - I called Jeff about it and he asked if I could please call back when he could understand what I was trying to say! hooray for pets!

You got it CJ! I am grateful it was mostly dead/dying and l was not chasing a wounded, only partly dead gopher around the house. Once he brought in two live birds. Not even wounded. Took me all afternoon to get them out.
